A very important policy that one coutry has to practice in order to grow its economy is to develop a huge and strong domestic market. Nowadays, Brazil is enlarging its domestic market by including millions of people who can buy goods and services. Therefore, all of the economic sectors can grow in a sustainable way to offer goods to domestic market. How to do that? By raising population income. In the brazilian case, the main policies to reach this goal are social programs, that transfers income to poor people, and minimum wage's increase.

Some years ago, Brazil was always associated with football and poor shanty (favelas). Nowadays,, Brazil is fast becoming one of the powerhouses of the global economy.
I think its economy has surged because of vast reserves of natural resources and a rapidly growing middle class (more than 30 millions). And as said teacher Dani `the mains policies to reach this goal are social programs (bolsa família) and others in the same target..... MARILDA ALVES CAETANO
