A Sedentary Lifestyle

 

A sedentary lifestyle is an attitude that needs to be avoided. Nowadays people have no time to practice physical activities. This behavior can cause serious diseases, especially heart diseases. Thinking about it, and considering that in my father’s family there are a lot of people who have this kind of disease, I try to maintain a physical activities’ routine. So, about four years ago, I have enrolled on a Pilate’s studio. It was because I don’t like going to the gym. No matter which faster is my day, I try not to miss the Pilate’s class. If a person doesn’t like going to the gym, running, go walking or another kind of exercises, I recommend try to do Pilates. It is cool not only to body, but also to relax.

Last year my family and I were in New York City, and we were in two different rooms at the hotel. One with a couple, my husband and I, and another in which there were my three kids. One room was far from the other. Suddenly our phone rang, and it was a nervous kid crying because the two other sons had gotten into a fight and the youngest was almost hanged. His neck was bruised. My husband and I went fast to their room at the hotel and we lost our temper. We said what was in our minds to the oldest kid and stopped talking to him until he thought about what he had done. He felt sorry and promised shrug his brother off when he bothered him. In the end, after the scare was gone, things went back to normal and the trip was marvelous.

A great discover about a co-worker

 

Last week, at my work, the public servant’s day was celebrated. There was a soiree, where co-workers showed unknown talents. Suddenly, a person who had written novels was annunciated announced. It was a surprise to me. How could he write novels while he has a hard heart cold blooded (inconsiderate) when he has to treat deal with his co-workers? I was chocked shocked with it!

Because of his character with his colleagues, it was a surprise to me! I said that I didn’t know how a person who doesn’t have heart could write a novel! My friend laughed a lot whit my commentary.

At the end of the soiree, I bought a book. I have to know what he has to say to readers. He was very grateful. Now, I am reading his book about a woman who has a family cursed until the fourth generation. It is so such a surprising and interesting book!

Family Trends

Families are more and more different than some decades ago. The birthrates are lower and lower. It’s happening because people are living in urban places. Some time ago, how the most people lived in a country, the higher the families were, because the woman stayed at home taking care of the children and the older kids helped to take care of the younger ones. Nowadays, in the cities, the families need women’s salary to improve their lifestyle, so, how they can’t stay at home and take care to their families, the families are becoming smaller and smaller. On hand, living in a city there are more and more comfort and fun. On the other hand, you spend much more money than living in the country, why the couples are having less and less kids.

Are bullfights inhuman?

             Some traditional forms of entertainment using animals don’t mean these are necessarily cruel. For instance, bullfights seem cruel to who is watching them, because there is a fight between the bull and the matador. It is true that the bull is usually killed, but, sometimes, the matador is killed by the bull. Some people think, because of this, that this form of entertainment must be prohibited. It could be true at first look, but they need to understand that this is part of the cultural manifestation of some countries, principally in Spain. This form of entertainment is so strong that some famous artists have dedicated their work to them. For example, Pablo Picasso and Francisco de Goya did some paintings about it. Bizet’s “Carmen” was inspired by this. In conclusion, it isn’t simple to prohibit the bullfights, because not only is this part of the culture, but also there are a lot of people who survive working by this.

We all know the cities have a lot of problems. So, I'll try to tell about the things I wouldn't let it happen if I were a mayor.

Neither poverty nor violence will be allowed in our city. Not only health care but also education is a priority. Pollution can be either eliminated or reduced.

Clothes Style

 

When I was teenager, I wore clothes my mother bought or made to me. I felt happy just to have a new outfit. I had a few and good nice clothes. That’s why my style was always classic. Similarly, my mom and my sisters used to wear classical clothes. However, I liked to wear long nails and to polish them with trendy colors, like the young girls today. Nowadays, some young girls wear different kinds of clothes, but not made at home. The girls buy clothes at different kinds of stores. Some are fashionable, others are trendy, others are elegant and a few are classic. But there is a style all of them are used to hanging out: the hot style. When I was teenager, little girls didn’t wear like this, because they were self-critical. If it was or not good, I don’t know, but it was different.

When you enter in Brasilia’s Cathedral, you can see how magnificent it is! It seems like a heaven and you can feel that God really exists. The building is very attractive outside, and glamorous inside. When you are walking into the church, firs there is a dark tunnel. Then you can see how gorgeous it is inside. It’s clear, the stained glasses are graceful, and there are angels floating up. The Brasilia’s Cathedral was drawn by Oscar Niemeyer, the most gifted, imaginative and passionate architect I have ever seen. You have to visit the most incredible modern church of the world!

I am a woman who likes enjoying life all the time. I like spending time with my family and friends. On weekends, when I have some free time, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, watching romantic and comedy movies with a big bowl of popcorn. It's fantastic! I like reading great novels writers. I'd like to travel around the world, so I'm studying English in a wonderful school, with great teachers and intelligent classmates. My husband says I'm an energetic person because I always wake up early, and also on weekends. In fact, I appreciate watching the sunrise.

Someday I'd like to visit the Egyptian Pyramids. In fact, when I was younger I had a dream with this. Nowadays, I'm relaxed about it. I prefer visiting other places, or just staying at home with the people I love!

Tyrant friends are more common than you can think of. If you have to do everything your friend wants, and he doesn't listen to you, you have a tyrant friend. He could be friendly, lovable and helpful if you need him, but if your opinion is different than his, he can be furious. For example, when my kids were little, I had to go to my friend’s house every Sunday with all my family. They were so adorable, and made delicious lunch for all of us. But we couldn’t go out early, just when they wanted. So, in this at that time, I couldn’t visit my parents or my parents-in-law, because every week we had to go to my friend’s house. But once I changed my mind and gave up that friendship . , it was like freedom. Having a friend like that is more trouble than it’s worth!
